I believe there should be someone who basically works out of the Prop sections - that of replicas, plans, and the knowledge base - who must approve of all submitted material into the site. It's pretty much the same concept of having Vincent Belmont filtering the acceptable material into the Fanfic section. Don't get me wrong, the Prop section is usually very useful and inventive, but some of the things posted there just get out of hand. For instance, this. It doesn't really seem to be a huge deal, because people will rate it badly, but it's a waste of space and it lowers the general quality of GBN. Like, I don't know about you guys, but if I'm surfing GBN looking for prop tips, I don't want to see crap like that scattered all over the place. So I think we should put a person in place, who is willing, of course, to approve prop posts. Maybe this, or, give the Moderators the power to delete the nonsense (although that's much less likely, I know).

This is all just my ideas, so fellow ghostheads, lend your voices and opinions, please!

I like this idea! Seriously, I think people should be stopped from submitting lousy props. On a side note, I also think that we should have someone to monitor the Ghostbuster Links section. It's been several months since the last site was added.

*hack, cough, sticky* Good ideas guys. Both of these need to have the equal attention to get it all fixed.

But if we are to do the same with the Prop section as we did with the Fanfic section and Vincent, I nominate either GB_DAN, Borzou99, or Ecto-3. They all seem to have their act together, and have really impressed me with their knowledge.

thanks for the vote of confidence, but I can't do the prop approving thing. I'm a 3d man, and we've all seen the hub-bub about 3d vs real, so that's why I only nominated myself for site approval…
