So hang on Venky, if I send my solicited script to:

John Calley

Sony Pictures Entertainment
Attention: Human Resources
10202 West Washington Blvd.
Suite 3900
Culver City, CA 90232-3195

Will it go to the right place?

Sinister-

If you've got an agent you won't be sending your script anywhere- they will. And Human Resources is not the place to send it. You'll want to send it to one of the production companies on the lot (your agent will do this based on the genre/target audience of the script you have written).

As for getting an agent, you'll need a spec script before they'll even look at your ideas for Ghostbusters 3. Something original that shows your style and voice.

Right then, I am about to start on the hunt for an agent! I want everyone to know I am DEADLY serious about this, and I will get my script solicited and sent to Sony as quickly as possible! This is not just a fan on a hopeless crusade! I meen business!
And I will need all you support! If this does work, and Sony DO like my script, what with the revival coming, then

Ghostbusters 3: Heat Rash

may just be hitting you screens 2005!
The great thing is, I have managed to overcome a lot of the barriers preventing a third movie. Bill's part is reduced, a hell of a lot, I don't even consider him a main character, seeing as though he's in Spain for most of the movie.

The other three originals get great roles, but are not made to do too much unnesacery action, though they are important in the showdown.

The inclusion of the Ghostbuster academy meens that we are able to escape the EGB syndrome, in which four more GBs are recruited and trained. Here we join two new fully trained GBs around the age of 24, who were instructed by the best, (Egon, Ray and Winston), and are already doing well. However, they do not upstage the originals, they work in harmony with them. It shows a more happy ending to the first two parts, being that they finnaly made it big.

There is a lot of good stuff that true fans (ie us) will love and relate to, such as the Vigo portrait in Egon's lab, and a large container of ectoplasmic marshmellow DO NOT EAT! in there too. However a long side that, the plot is easy for the newbie to understand, and anything that borrows from the first two, (such as the inclusion of the mood slime) is explained well.

And yes, Proton_User, you were the first.

Spain? Ghostbusters Acadamy? I confused, lol BTW, what does “unsolicited” mean? Does that mean material that hasnt been reviewed by an agent or something? Cause I'm moving to Mackinac Island this summer, a VERY traditional place. No mortorized cars or anything, practically 19th century. The upside is, they have a movie studio on the Island I will have plenty of time to type up a script. I was very interesting in the idea of a rumor flying around that GB3 was gonna be in OLD NYC set in the early 1900s. The first ghostbusters. But, being that it aint true, its an idea But I will have to rename it to something else, like “Spectre Hunters” (corny idea) But I need a catchy title that isnt a complete rip-off to gb. (well, if the story aint enough to rip it off then i sure in heck dont want the title to be the same, hehe). Then I will have to get it “offically copyrighted”. Then send it to the Mackinac Film Co. Good Luck Sinister!

Sinister. Maybe you should start a petition that shows how many people would like your script to be made into a movie and that might help a little. i dunno just a thought.
