The "Original" Library ghost monster in Fright Night?

If any of you read up on GB trivia, the Library ghost apparently had another concept that was meant to be used, but considered too scary. It was said this ghost was later reused in the film “fright night”

I saw the movie but I didn't know which creature it was re-used as…

Can anyone help me out?

I think it's the picture of Regine at number 10 on this list: http://www.dappercadaver.com/blog/2008/09/05/top-40-female-monster-costumes-of-all-time/

I could be wrong, but I always figured that must be what they meant - it is after all a vaguely similar full body puppet thing.

I'd say that's probably a damn good guess.

I still think the Library Ghost is the scarier of the two - it's the more human corpse aspect of it.

There's a generation petrified by the two page spread it got in Anne Digby's novelistion/picture book - way scarier close up and paused than in motion. i had to staple the pages together!

Ditto. Nice to know I'm not the only one scarred for life… tho I've gotten a bit better on this one over time.

Heh! Me too, but I have to admit it was a few years before I could watch that bit! i was surprised how much less scary than the book it was. Damn you, Anne Digby!
