Does anyone remember the classic comicbooks based on the Real Ghostbusters cartoon series, I bought the biggest collection of them on ebay and don't even know where they are now lol! :-)

I've been re-reading both my Now and Marvel collections. the Now series is for the most part very good, but the Marvel UK ones really are appalling. My tolerance level seems to drop with each issue. The text stories and Tobin's spirit guide are quite good at times, but the strips are always terrible. How they got away with this for nearly 200 issues is beyond me.
In the last issue I read- How Egon's hair turned from Black to Blonde. Thrilling story…..

All anyone should need the Marvel run for are the Spengler's Spirit Guides. I have to figure the writers assumed kids wouldn't read that bit and just went to town on it - Some of those are among the funniest GB spin-offs ever, seriously. They read like early Woody Allen prose - not praise I would wield lightly.

Everyone always looks at me like I'm mad when I say that, but I stand by every word.

The Now comics are the best, but the Marvel UK comics are decent to, not great or bad but ok.

I have almost every English-language GB comic produced.
