The saturn Awards

Does anybody here really like the saturn awards? I prefer them to the oscars since they pay more attention to the kind of movies I like. Although I think they've made a few mistakes like Bill Sadler winning for his role in Bill and Ted's bogus journey over Alan Rickman in Robin Hood Prince of thieves or Tim Allen winning for Galexy Quest instead of Bruce Willis in the Sixth Sense.

William Sadler deserved to win because, no insult intended to Alan Rickman, but Robin Hood Prince of Thieves was an awful movie, whereas Death from Bill & Ted was brilliant.

So true, so true. It has been for EVER since I have seen B&T. I am going to have to pull those out again and watch them for shits and giggles

I didn't think Robin Hood Prince of theives was bad. I don't get why everybody hates it. It's where my knowledge of Robin Hood came from when I was a kid. I thought it had good story, good action, good directing, and good acting. It was not a bad movie at all.

It's as accurate as Braveheart (in other words, not very). It'd take me too long to cover all the ground needed to show why that film is amusing, but still rather rubbish.

Well everybody in my family likes it. Plus there are many different legends of Robin Hood anyway. But you have to admit that Tim Allen winning over Bruce Willis is dumb.
