I have noticed this a lot lately and i need to point it out. To all of you who don't know, there is an edit button to edit your posts. You see it there on the top right hand corner of your post? That is there so you don't have to make more then one post if you accidently mess up or leave something out.
If you use this “edit” button then you will save space on the website and it won't take as long to load for those who have a 56k modem. ALSO it cuts down on the spam problem. The only time you should have to post right after yourself is if there is a bump, and even still that should be used after a while of the thread being dead.
Thank you.

Vego, thanks for reviving this topic idea (I remember it from GBN). It's covered in the “Frequently Asked Questions” that come standard with the phpbb board (at the top of every page), but some people still have problems with the concept.
Expect a link to this topic to start appearing in my Standard Welcoming Post :-)

Is there a way that Chad could make it so that the person who just posted something couldn't post in that thread again until someone else has posted something new in that topic? Because people still are putting in input right after something they just said. Maybe one day people will learn what the Edit button is and how it works.

Sometimes a bump is neccessary, like if you're talking about something, like a fanfic you're writing, and you want to update, as well as get feedback from others.
