Thats one of the stupidest things a studio could do…they dont wanna let the license go but yet they dont want to make money off of it for themselves either?

Yeah, it doesn't make any sense when we look at it, but some studios value a franchise too much, even if they were to not do anything with it. This is the same company that released a cease and desist to some fans who had mocked up a cover and joked they were releasing a “Ghostbusters Reference Guide”, when in fact they had no such intent.

No, some fans joked they were going to. However the truth was the fans had never actually intended to do so.

If it'd been real, it'd have been a book that'd taken a closer look at the props.
