This last Saturday was the birthday party for our team member Matt Sremaniak. He surprised us by making his very own firehouse birthday cake. He spent several days and alot of trial and error on the cake. It took six layers of cake to build the firehouse. Marshmallows were appropriately used for the trim. Matt is also 25 so he gave the cake the GB 25th anniversary logo as a topper. The cake was delicious and certainly served alot of people. Next time we'll put a sparkler on the roof.

This was the first time I'd seen a firehouse done. Pretty much everything else has been done a few times. I'd love to see a gingerbread firehouse. That may be something we'll tackle at Christmas.

That has to be the coolest birthday cake I've ever seen. And the fact that he did it for himself and to share with the group just adds to my awe.

Mine just had my RGB toys on them when I was a kid. There have been a lot of GB cakes lately. I saw a trap one on GBFans awhile ago.
