I have so much trouble trying to make that dag on gun that I just gave up. So instead I used this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1723564639. Except mine is painted all black. It isnt to bad looking either when its all black.

Its very fun, challenging, and rewarding. Believe me, having a proton pack that actually fits is a lot better than the toy

That's quite uncanny. Check out the pack I made in the props section.
I can't remember if it's visible or not, but I too couldn't make a suitable proton gun, so I fished out my old projector toy, sprayed it black, added some tubing to attach it to the pack, and away I went
