Hey all… found this today, and I thought some of you:

a) Might not have picked up on it previously, and
b) Might be interested.

It's by Platinum Cinema / Daftkid909 / Eddie Lebron etc, the same crew who are bringing Ghostbusters: Generation to our screens this year. However, this is the (if I may say so) not particularly inspiring previous fanfilm they produced nearly three years ago… “Ghostbursters” (spelling mistake intentional, before I get flamed).

Unfortunately it's a copy-and-paste-the-whole-URL job, because the HTML programming won't hyperlink it due to the inclusion of brackets… and I can't make the first part NOT be a hyperlink, DAMNIT :-@

I am surprise he still have the video up on his website.

It's NOT the best fan made Ghostbusters film he made.

That's why lots of people do not think he will make the upcoming Ghostbusters film any good.

If you look at other films he made, you will see why.

HOWEVER…

I have a feeling that the film that is coming out soon will end up proving us wrong and it will end up being the best Ghostbusters fan film ever made.

I'd agree with that, from the promotion and clips that were put on YouTube and suchlike, I think it's going to be absolutely fantastic, i've got GREAT faith in it! I think the old one was a bit craptastic, but hey, I couldn't do any better, so who am I to talk? (^_^) My breath is still baited for this final trailer!

Man, there are so many things I can say about that film. :p

That was actually going to be an easter egg on the “Generation” DVD with a commentary….MST3K style!

“Ghostbursters” in no way, shape, or form should reflects on or inspired the creation of “Generation”. The responses to the rough cut of “Generation” speaks for itself.

My film making standards have become RIDICULOUSLY high over the last three years so debunk the sad memory of “Ghostbursters”. It makes my soul cry!

Add it to your HD soon because all past “Lebron” films will be taken down very soon. I need to erase a painful past!



A small update:

The fully loaded web site is looking FANTASIC so I look forward to having that released with the traiier! The trailer has been recut to a nice 3 minute length with a new narration done by the voice artist.

Hopefully the trailer release will gather more hype for the film since this film has the potential to be something special. I'm in fact trying to cut the film down so the pacing is just perfect and will keep the viewer glued to the screen. I must make sure this film will pump EVERY GB film to the maximum!

Thirteen days and counting…

I must admit Daftkid, i've tried a variety of different ways to “sneak a peek” at your new website… I can't get into it at all I've tried test.html, site.html, audio.html, contact.html, main.html and many other probable extensions of your ghostbustersgeneration.com domain. I've also tried the same on the Orange County pictures website (ocp-ny.com/ghostbustersgeneration/contact.html etc) with NO LUCK! DAMNIT! I CAN'T WAIT ANOTHER 13, 12, HOWEVER MANY DAYS! THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME! :-)
