Warner Brothers is gonna do a photorealistic CGI animated full length feature based on the popular cartoon of the 80's. To hopefully cash in on the successful “Transformers” movie, the studios are developing this movie and they say it will be faithful to the cartoon show.

Dear God…

Go onto YouTube and type it ThunderCats in the Hood. That's the only way I can stand to watch it.

Makes me seem immature as hell..but oh well, I think it's hilarious.

Ya, ever since the popularity of the Transformers movie, alot of old kids franchises are being looked into for being movies, whether live action or completely CG. I also heard that someone was looking at a Voltron Live Action Movie done similiar to Sky Captain (completely CG sets)

There's also a possibility of a Masters of the Universe film, which I really don't mind seeing as how the old one was so bad.

The Dolph Lundrum film was fun in a cheesy way, and it put a pretty cool darker spin on the He-Man property following that rather ghastly Filmation cartoon.

Hey! that “ghastly” cartoon was awesome. I used to waste a lot of time watching that show. Granted…certain aspects of the series such as Orko could have been done without…but still cool none the less.

I grew up on the Filmation cartoon, in fact I probably wouldn't know about He-Man if it wasn't for the Filmation cartoon. Though I did hate how they tend to reuse character models again and again, which really annoyed me. I mean, how many times can you have the same old guy model coloured in different clothes and skin before a kid notices? I know it saves money, but it looks bad on and cheap on there part.
