I'm really looking forward to seeing it… being a old fan of the old cartoon and a fan of the new one. Should be a ful stroll down memory lane.
However, this isn't just the 1980s Turtles… the Mirage ones are also slated to appear.

unfortunatly the 1980's turtles don't have the original voice actors…but they do sound very VERY similar

It's been 25 years since the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles made their comic debut, and to celebrate the newest incarnation is bringing the 1980s cartoon Ninja Turtles, and the original “Mirage” Turtles (all wearing red bandanas) into the current toon universe via crossed dimensions… however the Turtles aren't the only ones making the leap.

Well, close enough. Leonardo sounds too deep though, and looks kind of weird with the animation because of it. I saw the sneak preview at the Canada Fan-Expo, only complain is that the 87 turtles are a little too goofy. When you see the original turtles in their dimension, it looks almost exactly the same as the 87 cartoon. They even had the painted backgrounds to make it look retro!

is this actually in the TMNT time line? i gave up on it, it started off really good and carried on so, then for some stupid reason, they all go stuck in the future, and it was awful

yes, but after FastForword they make it Back to the Sewers (last season's title) - so this 3-episode arc will follow after the last episode where Casey & April get married

Well, hell, the guy doing Mikey now practically is a soundalike for the Townsend Coleman (the 80's Mikey). I can't believe that Cam Clarke and Barry Gordon are that busy, but it's probably a money issue.(*janine)
