I mean Vigo did say that he would be back. Maybe at some point in his life he saw his return as well as the Shandor Island Facility . I am just saying that upon gaining “new life” inside of his painting maybe he tapped into that system in order to gain strength and to strengthen his own reserve of mood slime…

Or is that essentially what you are saying too…it's late I seem to be inable to read between the lines at the moment

So Are you guys going to canonize the black caustic slime?

As far as the equipment, I personally think that only the Boson Dart, and the Slime Blower Mk2 should be canonized. The Dark Matter Generator and the Meson Collider are cool but in the grand scheme of things (especially the Meson Collider) really aren't needed. I suppose both the Dark Matter Generator and the Meson Collider could be put aside for “Special Cases” but like you said…they are expensive to operate and manufacture.

Well I'm a huge fan of both the Dark Matter and the black slime, so I'm definitely advocating the use of such.

I liked the Shock Blast function of the Dark Matter Generator…I just found little to no use (other than the achievement) for the Stasis Beam.

I really liked the idea of the Black Slime it gives a (in my opinion) a rationalized reason for the Ghostbusters to have Slime Blowers on them at all times with the added functionality of the Slime Tether as well

Well the stasis beam is more effective in theory than in gameplay is what it is, I think. Freezing ghosts in place certainly sounds useful.

It helped with the Stone Angels and the Gargoyles later on but other than that I would have to agree that.

I am also kinda glad that we finally got a canon scientific name for the ghost traps despite the fact I believe there have been several fanon names out for some time if I remember correctly

I dunno if I like “Para-Goggles” better than “Ecto-Goggles”, though.

I personally like rationalize that the Ecto-Goggles and Para Goggles are 2 different things. The Ecto-Goggles are what they had in GB1 and 2 while the Para-Goggles are the upgrade…tied directly into the PKE allowing you to scan ghost with them and store them in the Tobin Guide inside.

But as far as names are concerned however…I personally like Ecto-Goggles better

Well, I don't believe the game's PKE meter with the built-in Tobin is gonna get canonized, at least, not as having existed in 1991. It's too advanced, with the iPhone-based screen and all. In the fics, it'll probably be a brand new invention.

Especially since Fritz upgraded the PKE from the one the XGBs used to a model based on older cellphones, with a touchpad and wireless net access, a few years ago. So moving up from cellphone to iPhone feels like a natural evolution.
