i hate it when i go to the active threads page, post in one i wnat to talk about and then have to go back to the main page and click on view again.

couldn't you just make it like the others where at the top it says

Home > Message Boards > Site Suggestions > Post New Topic

but make it so you can easily link back to the currently active thread page?

Well, you see, you had to be in the forum you posted in in order to post there. The computer doesnt' know that you want to go to the Active topics, and some people might want to return to the forum they posted in. For example, some people might come here and come directly to the paranormal board. It wouldn't be very fair to make them go to Todays active Topics after they make a post.

still there should be a way to get back more quickly. it's just a thought though.
