(*ray) I think if the comic takes off well enough in the mainstream, a new figure line could be very likely…you know them corporate bastards will milk it for all its worth if given the chance. Just please dont do the cheesey things like TMNT is doing again…makin figures never seen in a show or comic, just for the sake of selling merchandise.

actually, making those kinds of figs is what keeps the toy line alive. If they just made turtles that looked like the first wave, they wouldnt sell. Occasionally they can get away with new features (like the mutations and ninja action re-paints from the 90's), but kids buy toys and kids want stupid costumes and weapons that dont make sence.

The turtles line has also been pretty good about making figures that appear in the show aswell as kid-targeted figures.

I think if GB comic figs were made, they would prolly be one shot deals, the four GB's in comic likeness and thats it. I wouldnt expect a long line of toys that would produce flying ninja action ghostbusters.

Id love to see the comic designs. I mean, if Bill wont let his likeness be used, the comic characters look great. But I want detailed figures if they make em, nothing real cheap, Ill gladly pay 10-11 dollars like those other neca figures just as long as they look fuckin spiffy.

Yeah sure, that would be awesome. I also think it would be cool for them to make a set of 4 special figures.. something like “Back to Basics!” Or “Back to Classic” and have them made up like the 80's RGB series. I think McFarlen(sp) could do a kick ass rendetion of them all; each with their Proton packs, Pke meter and something unique to each character.
I mean, if I could find the old toys they'd be nice to collect - but something like McFarlen or Anime Gaijin(i think…. grr can't remeber) could really knock some socks off.

^____^ Heheh..

(*ray) Course the one thing we cant forget is a new ecto to get the boys in grey around to do their ghostbustin duty…which would be a good idea to do like extreme GB did and have actual functioning lights, and if i remember hearin right theirs had actual sirens too. And maybe somewhere down the road even a new Firehouse for the boys in grey. Like one of the previous posts said, just make them detailed and not a cheap half-assed attempt at a new figure line.

^ There's no way we're gonna see an entire toyline without at least a new GB movie out. That's the only profitable way to make entire toylines: by either having a popular cartoon show or movie of the subject matter currently being run on TV/in theatres. Unfortunately I doubt the comics alone will take it that far. But to at least see the action figures 4 GBs released based on the comics would be great. I'd buy them.

(*ray) really if it wasnt for bastard sony and bill sayin to let the series die…i think we would of already had 3…and dan and harold would be goin for a 4th as we speak…as for a cartoon i think if the comic does well enough it might push for grounds to be made into a cartoon series…after all thats what spider man was before it became a movie…and Batman and Superman were both live action shows in the early days before makin it to a movie. I just think GBs needs one big springboard back to prove that theres still an interest.

i would rather see figures based on the movie…like the movie action figures ninja turtles had or like a todd mcfarland action figure…those would kick ass..

(*ray) Just remember, like i said before youd have to have like bill murrays consent or something to do movie likenesses if i remember right…which if thats the case and bills still not gonna want to cooperate for the better of all gb fans,i say screw it and go with a comic line…spawn series does badass, like u mentioned with the mcfarlane line…that or wait till the new GB comic images are set and have a following before u make figures of them…really right now its too early to say movie or comic based line
