You can't really put Ghostbusters and Spider-Man in the same box, even if there isn't a new movie, Spider-Man can more then rely on the comics when it is one of Marvel's flagship titles. Ghostbusters on the other hand, is a little more of a niche market.
As for Sony, while I'd be careful in calling them bastards, they do look here now and then, it can be said that a large delay in production of a third movie was due to their not allocating a budget, hey guys, MIIB was a flop, should've spent it on seeing if Dan's idea could work!

As for Bill…while it has never beenn publically stated, it's pretty much common consensus that if any one of the four of them will refuse likeness rights, it's him.
I'm positive that NECA can produce a set on the guys, but a set of seperately marketed figured based on Steve Kurth's character designs I'd buy
