Hey chief, if you have Chad backing you on this, I have faith in ya. Just don't make like a cat and not deliver when the ball is thrown! Besides, what's the worse that'll happen if people actually have faith in what you're working on and you don't pull it off? NOTHING! So all the best to you, and hopefully it all works out in the end!

just out of curiosity, who at sony approved the new logo? i hear they're pretty… picky… about changes like that.
If you're talking about the “3” logo, it looks as though he's dropped the 3 from the title (look in the other topic) so it won't be needed.
Anyway, my logo was always meant to be promotional (not replacing the badge on uniform, signs, etc.)

first off, there's no way sony would allow a fan-created logo to be used on anything licensed. no offense on your peice, but it just wouldn't happen. …and like i said, they're EXTREMELY touchy on anything being changed, let alone the logo.

this whole thing reeks of unprofessionalism. i have a STRONG feeling the proper people at sony have been contacted by members of the ghosthead community regarding this matter. should be interesting.

no offense taken, and yeah i agree. i came up with the logo to go along with my story/project for a third movie, and to also get some “hype” and talk out there. (there's been a lot of interest when people see it!)
going a little off-topic but check out why this is my fave tie i wear to work, (it looks crooked, but just the tie isn't sitting perfectly flat): customers seem intrigued by it and always seem to share a fondness for the movies with me “hey, i loved the first two!” etc.

IMO they should've left the 2 finger logo for just promos, not changing it in the firehouse sign, badges and car decals, keeping the original throughout the movie.

this has nothing to do with GB2. the discussion at hand is for a licensed, independent production. …and like i've said, sony doesn't take well to things like logo changes, etc. ESPECIALLY if the logo change involves a fan created peice that is already distributed on a public message board. sorry, it just doesn't happen…

Dereck… he wasn't changing it to GBII, he simply said the ‘peace logo’ should've been kept to promotional stuff.

i know, kp… …and what i was trying to say is that our logo discussion had nothing to do with previous films. i'm sure if aykroyd's GB3 got a greenlight, and he wanted to use a new logo, there would be no problem. however, GB license holders don't have that freedom… one would assume the license holder of a GB tv program would have to abide by the same guidelines regarding logos…

Where are you're rights? Aren't you going to post what you've got. You're offending a lot of people's intelligence by posting all this about making your tv movie. You don't just go out and ask for some props that take a lot of time and money to make for your “TV” movie, especially with no proof of what you're doing. Lets see some production photos, a web-site, the rights…. SOMETHING! Obviously you're not really doing this, or you'd be a lot more professional about it or even more, official.

Ehh, waste of time. He's probably never coming back, or he's simply going to ignore it until his fanfilm is done and can say “see, I was right all along”…
