I stand by this, Preorder, buy used or by wal-mart

Correction: Never buy Wal-Mart.

I gotta agree with Scuba Steve on that one…

Wal-Mart sucks when it comes to Gameing

Actually if you buy walmart, you can return games in a short time frame for full refund. Customer service says this on the walls, read for video games. Gamestop doesn't do that. But I never go to walmart either.

Wal-Mart wouldn't return me my money once my PS3 game was open…just bought it, game was a misburned piece of crap, they told me they couldn't accept it, that it was “able to burn PS3 games” I am sitting there like “Do you know how much time and effort you'd have to put into this crap to have it ripped?” I just bought it 30 mins before hand, went home, came back after finding out it wasn't burnt right. >.<

So anyways long story short, I talked to District, got my money back, lady got fired.

I guess different wal-marts, mine have always been helpful, they might not know that much about the video games they sell, but then again if a game catches my interest enough to pay $60 for, I kind of do my own research on it.

I agree walmart's are full of dumb idiots (Not trying to say all workers there are dumb), but there are rules in the returns sections I did this one time and they said no, and I pointed the wall behind them and said yes or I get the manager. They refunded it. I think Gamestop should be required BY LAW to refund defective disks. I had the last Hulk game and it was bad, two disks. It was known problem and I didn't get a refund. At walmart, I would have.

Okay, that list is up to 49 people, there is no way that they're all developers or reviewers. Fffff…why must my GameStop be douchy and not sell early?

My comment about “video/game stores” was in reference to my previous post, about Hollywood Video (and any other video store that does things like that, for that matter), not specifically “video game stores”. So I apologise for any misunderstanding/offense. And, to the restaurant anology?…that is very true (well, not the spitting in the food part), I know…because I work in one.(*peter)

lol, no offense taken. Sad thing is, I've worked at most of the game chains so it doesn't really matter.

Honestly, I think I was just still irritated from the Prototype launch. My store didn't get it until the 17th and people were (literally) threatening me all day long.

If it is any consolation…Prototype is a frakkin awesome game. Just started playing it today.
