mad

As a Halloween fan, I am outraged, as is every other Halloween fan walking the earth. Moustapha's son Malek is absolutely appalled. He calls it “disgusting and disrespectful.” Mr. Akkad worked so hard on every film in the franchise up until his untimely 2005 death in the Amman Hotel bombings in Jordan. It's bad enough his credit was replaced with “Universal, an MCA Company Presents”, but it's even worse considering he'd dead.

Does Universal have no shame? They might as well have taken Steven Spielberg's name off Back to the Future; it would be the same thing. " Presents" being replaced with the company's own name is disgraceful, whether the person is living or dead.

And why no lossless audio? Did George Lucas magically acquire the rights to Halloween II and meddle with it as he saw fit? That's the only logical explanation. smile But seriously, what is Universal smoking? Halloween II has been tourtured enough *cough*Rob Zombie's H2*cough*, show some dignity.

I heard about this, pathetic. It's not only stupid and pointless, but disrespectful on top of everything else.
