unlockables and extras?

after beating the game i was curious if anyone knows if this game had any unlockables besides videos and artwork in the main menu? like alternate uniform, special proton back or anything? i know some of these were codes some people got with pre-orders but thought it would be nice to have something to work for after beating the game. an unexpected surprise.

Well, I sure do hope this game has some good downloadable content on the way. I'd be thrilled and excited to see some downloadable modes, like mini games/modes to download so you can do more than just career mode. Something like a timed mode ghost catching, how much value of stuff you can damage busting your stream, etc. Be lots of fun.

Looking forward to seeing whats to hopefully come.

I think we all hope for add ons and downloadable content, but don't get your hopes up too much. As far as we know, the downloadable content mentioned on the box could be the “GB 2 Uniform, Golden Proton Pack, Mayor and Ghoul Skin” since those three would count in many ways as “Downloadable Content”

I'm new to this whole video game thing. How long is it before they usually release downloadable items if they do after a game has been released? (*peter)

As far as release DLC it really depends on the individual developers. For instance, it seems like every other month Bethesda Softworks is releasing new DLC content for Fallout 3…while Lionhead Studio's has only produced 2 DLC's for Fable 2. And then there are some games that have no new content added at all…so it really depends.

Though there are a lot of other variables involved (some not so apparent) it seems to me that DLC production / release really boils down to what TR wants to do, what TR is capable of doing, and what Sony will let TR do.

I am just throwing out a wild guess here, but I am betting that we wont see any downloadable content until Atari sees the numbers of games sold. When that happens they will probably schedule content around the holidays so they can have something to advertise for during the holiday season. The Parade level that everyone seen bits and pieces, if they make one it could be for Thanksgiving, there could be a Halloween event, there could even be a New Years Eve Ball Dropping event, who knows. So really personally if there is anything, we wont be downloading it until October.

While I agree with you that we probably won't even begin to see inklings of DLC until after Atari and Sony get a good long look at the sells figures, I personally disagree your time table. I personally do not thing we will see any DLC until after the begining of the year (some time after the release of the PAL version). I hope I am wrong but that is my guess.

once you beatthe game on thr wii on gozerian diffuculty u get a new costume.

Buts its not what it think.

its called gozerian ghostbusters uniform. and all it is , is you body is transparent.

I really hope Wii Ware has some kind of downloadable stuff for the game later on. It's lacking in a lot of features that it mentioned in the very early previews. Not much to do after completing the game, other than trying to unlock some of the stuff, which really just makes the game easier which isn't good cause the game is already pretty easy.

We'd definitely have to wait it out and see if we'd get anything though. Hopefully we will, but I'm not holding my breath on it.
