VERY clumsy moments

I'd like to tell you a story on my in ability to be smooth in front of a lady. I had only 2 glasses of wine. i ordered Pizza. A girl at my favorite place, who was from the same high school year works there. I think i have a wee bit of a crush on her. sure enough, she was delivering to my house. we had a conversation. i ended it with saying “OK, I love ya.” thats how i end a conversation with a loved one. than it dawned on me what i said when i closed the door. has that happaned to any one were wine hits you like a base ball bat to the face? (;_

Reminds me of that Frasier episode (I think the one where Frasier, Niles and Martin go on an ice fishing trip), where Martin explains the difference between saying “I love you” and “I love ya”..

I've never been a wine drinker, I just never got it. I gave up on anything harder than beer almost two years ago. Hard alcohol isn't fun, falling off decks, hotel bathrooms and whatnot! :-)
Ask her to a movie or dinner or whatever.
I'm about as smooth as sandpaper, but smoothness only goes as far as the person that tolerates you! If you can be yourself around em and have fun, and they can do the same, you know you're on the right track! The last thing you want to do is lose a house and everything you own over a relationship! (I've heard stories, lol…)
Find someone you make happy and that makes you happy, and before you jump into anything serious, make damn sure that she's happy with you, and that you're happy with her!

Wine isn't hard alcohol. But I do agree, I steer clear from anything stronger than wine or beer.
