Y'know, a GB3 game would actually be pretty neat. Just look at all the hubub that “Enter The Matrix” got, with it being the tie between the Matrix movies or whatever the hell it was about. It'd be relatively cheap to make compared to the original sum that they originally estimated GB3 for. Plus, Murray could come in and record the lines in an hour, collect his check, and leave and not have to put up with Ghostbusters again. :p

The story would be the same as the movie… but in the beginning rounds you play as the original GB's. Each one has different levels in intelligence, speed (especially with the fact they've got OLD), and proton power.

You could have teams, buddy up, or go against each other (see who can capture the most ghosts in 20 minutes), and play online against each other. Maybe even do the “Resident Evil: Outbreak” thing where you can BE ghosts.

Unlockable characters could be Louis Tulley or Jenine Melnitz. Slimer could be your saving point whenever you find him… the possibilities are endless.

Who knows… it could generate some buzz and get some movie execs thinking…

It would be interesting, and I'd LOVE a GB video game, but the end of your post contradicts what you said earlier… If movie execs are going to be thinking about making the movie, then Bill Murray would probably have to deal with Ghostbusters again (and not just be able to come in and record his lines and be done with it forever).
