Vigo VS. Gozer.. in battle who do you honestly think would win?

vigo was powerful! He needed the body of a child to come back and be something close of a god , rule the world with power unknown to man. But if gozer won that day on the building there would have been no way for vigo to come back. Its hard to compare these two. But gozer wins , it can be anything , if gozer only knew the ghostbusters had particle throwers theres no way it would have formed staypuft. Gozer went easy and let the GB's choose its form.

My vote is for Gozer. Like has been said before: demi-god vs. magician. I think the demi-god would win. Also, it was kind of inferred in the game, the Vigo just piggy-backed off of what Shandor did to bring Gozer over.

The battle wouldn't even last 5 minutes. Vigo isn't even in the same league as Gozer. That's one of the things I disliked about the sequel. In the original, they fought a demi god. In the sequel, they fought a powerful spirit. You just can't top fighting a god.

If you think about it Vigo was killed by humans, hung, drawn & quartered.
Gozer who is from another dimension has won each time until he/she (what ever Gozer wants to be) came to earth and met the Ghostbusters.

Gozer would destroy Vigo in seconds, not even in the same league.

I would think that Gozer could just summon up a giant barrel of slime to kill Vigo.

Although, I guess Vigo would have to choose a giant barrel of slime, so that complicates matters.

With the river of slime backing him up, Vigo would probably do a pretty decent job. Powered by that stuff he was pretty darn close to a god as one could get.

And depending on the continuity/explanations, Gozer might be stuck as Mr. Stay-Puft… who's very vulnerable to heat. BUT if it's pre-Puft form, Vigo would put up a good fight (he was pretty much a demi-god when tapping into the power of the slime), but would probably fall eventually… or just get quickly mauled by Zuul and Vinz. :p

Vigo, because he's a bigger blowhard than Gozer. He handily defeats Gozer and both of them go on to support King Koopa in the 2012 Republican primaries. (The Dennis Hopper version of Koopa from the film, naturally, not Bowser of the games.)
