The main site has been in archive for almost 4 years now, im offering to help reopen the site, i can advertise, mod work, whatever. just offering to lend a helping hand.

I wish someone would update it. Only GB site that I know of that always updates regularly is pc.

The main site will be staying in archive until Chad's ready to reopen it.
And please don't take this personally, but I don't think you'd have enough experience to run it.

Moderators are selected by admins and current mods based on user reputation, conduct, maturity and reliability, as well as suitability for the job. Not generally from individuals ‘volunteering’ to be mods.

Unless they've changed things since I was a Mod here, and I doubt it, just the forum. The only thing some of us could do on the main site was approve Fan Fics, which is no longer an option because it's not taking anymore fan fics.

Mr. Emkow retired from the community years ago, and handed his position to Chad. Chad retired briefly in 2003, which was when the old GBN was closed and this board was opened. Chad doesn't come by very often because he's busy in Real Life.
I admit, I think this board would run smoother if Chad would come on more often or enable more Admin powers to his Mod staff. Especially with all the spambots constantly attacking the place.

Lol, only reason I mentioned the Emkow guy was because it says he's the founder at the top of the page. But his link doesn't work.

One more reason Chad really needs to come on more often–he could fix that. The link to “Ghostbusters Message Board Credits” on the bottom doesn't work either.
