If he's doing so much with these other sites then what makes you think after a while he'll have time to mod here? Besides people with expirience to gbcentral should get the job. I'm speaking this in what I feel should be the best intrest for gbcentral.

The only thing I have against M. Bison being a mod, is that we don't know the guy yet.

My example would be…last year, starting college, our class had to pick a rep. for student council. Some guy volunteered, as we really didn't know anyone else, a few here and there….but anyways, we picked this guy. He seemed very positive, and up beat guy. Seemed nice, etc. Well, he screwed us royally. He's a prick and most of us hate him. Kept all the good scholarship info to himself…blah blah…

I'm not saying that M. Bison will do that….cause again, don't know the guy…just saying that's the only reason I have any resistance to him being a mod.

Being a newbie doesn't mean he can't mod well, and he is getting the votes. :p

But hey, there's 6 more days of voting…anything could happen…


and I just thought of something funny….sg1star, as far as I know, has basically left the boards..(sad I know (;_ )…and yet is being voted for…heck..even being nominated…thought that was kinda funny…so did he…lol

Actually, if he was/is able to successfully mod a Trek board, then I've gotta say, I'm impressed. Those guys are even worse than GB fans as far as being whiny when they don't get their way. And there is something to be said for being so new that you haven't had a chance to develop any prejudices.

I'm not saying that I voted for him…because frankly I don't think it's anybody's business who I voted for, but he doesn't deserve to get the constant beating he's getting just because he hasn't been around for very long. For the record, while I think you're a cool guy and all…try looking back at how much you've complained because nobody nominated you, and how rotten you've been to him, and tell me if you honestly think you should have been nominated. This isn't supposed to be a popularity contest, it's supposed to be us picking who we feel is best to help lead the Ghostbusters “community”…at least as far as this board is concerned. And the fit you've been throwing just doesn't scream “leadership potential” to me. Sorry to point it out so publicly, but damn man…you kinda deserved it.

Thank you so much, now ya see, this is what im talkin about, he makes many valid points, and yes, i admit, for a while i was one of those whiny trekkies, but then i started modding and relised hey, this is just a bunch of people, havin a good time while discussing. actually right now, i would be only modding this and Tokyoforums, so i would have time, trust me, i have loads if im makin banners for people.

It was a breaking point. I didnt complain but once it got to the point that someone random was nominated its just like meh. He did Star Trek, great. So other people arnt ever gonna even get their chance to show what they can do if mods from other sites are mods at even more sites. Yeah I have said a bunch of things. But it doesnt matter. People obviously have pointed out by no nominations and a pretty fair share of bashing that I dont deserve it so Im just stating my opinion. I dont even care necessarily about me, but I dont think someone who just came here should be a mod. He doesnt even know the board. You gotta be here for at least a couple of months to get a feel for this place. Yeah sure you say that might make him impartial but all mods are supposed to be impartial. By the way you dont know necessarily where Im coming from when I feel like Im not good enough once again.

And my vote goes to Shadow Weaver. I wish him and the others who are running, Good (^_^) luck.
