Warner Bros to Bring Thundercats to the Big Screen!!!!

I'm trying to keep very calm here. I've been wanting this to happen for 20 years!!

I am so exited!!!!! Thundercats along with Ghostbusters were the only two things I was into as a kid, and still am.

Any Thundercats fans here? What do you make of the news?

Those don't really count… they weren't ‘theatrical releases’.

Cool… could be a fun movie, but I hope it's not another Thunderbirds, so promicing but such a mega letdown in execution.

I've heard talk of a Thundercats film, never seen it go anywhere. I hear talk of He-Man and GI Joe getting new live action films, with GI Joe being an international task force in Europe instead of a “Real American Hero” and He-Man possibly being changed to have Eternia be an island on Earth and He-Man/Adam a US Soldier. Scary, isn't it?

I also heard talk of a new Thundercats cartoon with the T-Cats as teenagers in a rock band in LA on modern day Earth with Snarf as their manager. I even saw an alleged character design of a “new” Lion-O that reworked him as a scrawny guy instead of the hulking barbarian type we know and love. I've never seen this come about and I'm hoping it doesn't.

Which is why I said “New” masters of the universe movie. It also had Dolph Lundgren from Rocky IV.
