You guys are lucky! I sent this guy $175.00 and I told him I would send the rest when he gave me a tracking number for the package and I never receieved a number or the package. As I said in my first post I reported him to the FBI so they will take care of him. Plus all of you guys posts are good for evidence that he is trying to do this to other people. His mistake was telling me his full address and such so the feds can easily track this novice. He's probably a 14 year old kid or something at least that's what he sounded like. I have emailed him two dozen times or so and he has emailed me too so I have plenty of messages from him to hold againts him. Oh well, live and learn. Luckily I put it on my CC so I disputed the charge. Has anyone else sent this guy money? I can report it to the FBI in my report there is a place where it asks if anyone else I know has been frauded. Hopefully no one else sent him the moolah though! I'll keep you updated on what's going on!

This asshole talked to me on AIM just yesterday. Told him I was building my own pack…he never sent me pics though. Funny thing is, he got my name from this board. At least, that's what he told me.

Anyways ghostheads, I advise you to do some research before you buy, and never, ever, ever buy from someone who contacts you on an IM client trying to sell his stuff.

I'm going to WHOIS his IP, since we have his address we can email his internet provider and inform them and have him kicked off.

This guy contacted me the same night this all went down–twice. I don't think he realized until I pointed out to him “Didnt you ask me this already?”

I wish I'd saved the chat logs–I just thought he was a pest, not a con artist :-)

Don't bother with the AOL report. I've reported him to the FBI's Internet Fraud department. I know it might seem a little extreme, but too bad. We have a zero tolerance policy for scammers around here, and this is going to make a good example. Not only that, he's trying to thieve a LOT of money. Hopefully the Feds will take care of this. I wanted to keep the fact that I made the report hidden, but I don't want anyone to do anything that doesn't need to be done. The reason I made a report is because I almost took place in a transaction with him, basically. Hopefully they will put a stop to his games…

Yeah I reported him to the FBI also. I added all of his s/n and he logged on today. I messaged him and said hi and he said who are you and I told him I was a friend. I asked him if he had the pack and he said who the he“” are you and I told him to give me my pack or my money back and he logged right off. One of his screen names has an ‘88 in it so I’m guessing he's only 15 or so, the feds will have no trouble in finding him!

After talking to him on the phone, he sounded much older than that, but not too extreme. He told me he was 28. Protonbeams88 is one of his other screen names…

I'm sad to hear that some of you lost money because of this lowlife scammer. I was just wondering though, If you have his adress, why don't you pay him a little visit? That's what I do when I get scam, and believe me, it always worked, I never had to fight and I always got my stuff back (money or toys), might have been the baseball bat in my hand that helped
When the FBI will arrest him, will you get your money back?

The member has been, or is in the process of being, banned. Please do not trust his instant message names or such as he WILL scam you. Hopefully the proper authorities will take care of him, but he shouldn't be a problem on this site anymore…
