After seeing how much weight Ramis has put on in Orange County, and Akroyd since Blues Bros. 2000, What factor do you think that would play in a GB3.. ??

But wasn't the original ghostbusters supposed to be teachers of new busters? Harold and Dan wouldn't have to do much “work” because the newer guys would take over.

Aykroyd has put on weight but he is not really big. Ramis needs to loose a few but for his age he still looks good.

What's the ages on these guys anyway, anyone know? I mean I can Guestimate, But i'm looking for pretty exact ages.

They wouldn't need to do much busting because of the rookies in training, which would make it more like a going into business movie as these guys wouldn't know anything about the job. Also Dan and Ramis's weights could make for some good jokes from Bill.

The age of Harold Ramis is actually 57, he being born in 1944 making him the oldest of the guys.

Dan Aykroyd is 48.

The weight issue would be a problem in a way for Ramis, who would have to do a bit of running around, but for Dan Aykroyd, look at Evolution and prove me wrong.

Dan Ackroyd is actually 50 yrs old. He turned 50 on July 1st, Canada Day.
Yes, Harold Ramis is 57 yrs old. Bill Murray is 51 and Ernie Hudson is 56. They all are a liitle chubby now but I think Ramis is the one that's most obvious in having a round tummy. The others all have that slight chubbiness. Even Bill Murray has gained on that stomach as well. Murray's hair seems to turn grey and brown varying in his movies. He and Ackroyd are both balding. So if there ever was a GB3 they'd be all old and no doubt need to train younger guys.

God, who cares what their weight is? It's not a problem, its called getting older, and the Ghostbusters idea was never designed to be a bunch of physically fit guys throwing streams. Even in 1984, while they did look younger and a little slimmer, it was obvious that these guys weren't in any great shape.

Harold Ramis puts on some pounds and you call it a “weight problem”…sheesh.

Well, yeah It could work, I'm just saying if it's going to be made.. and at the rate their going, they can't exactly afford that much longer.. or they should rename it Geriatricbusters.
