Is it 1955? We can't vacation in Cuba.
Congratulations to you and your wife. Hope you have a safe trip and a great honeymoon in Cuba.
While government restrictions have severely limited the amount of tourism in the country, more than 2 million tourists from Canada, Europe and the U.S. visit Cuba every year. One common misconception that many American tourists have is that it is illegal to visit Cuba. In reality, U.S. travelers simply need to plan carefully in order to get approval to visit the country. By applying early, you can get a humanitarian, educational or religious license to visit Cuba legally.
Congrats from me as well. Also how did you apply to go, I mean by which means did you chose to apply as. Also if you haven't left yet by chance or see this on your way and don't know. There are a lot of electronics you can't take there. Ipods are usually ok, however I know, laptops, 2-way radios, dvd players, GPS devices, there are more I just can't remember, but the airports will usually hold onto that stuff for you untill you leave. Also you have to pay to leave I know it's 25 CUC? I think the currency is CUC, but I know it's 25 of that, so just in case I'd put it aside in your passport so you don't accidently spend it, lol.
