My comis dealer gets promo posters quite often, and I've aqcuired quite a few X-men promo posters through the years :-)

If I see a Ghostbusters promo poster, trust me…I wont rest until it's mine! (^_^)

Posters aren't very good money makers. It costs too much to print and they never sell enough to make a profit, and I believe most tend to lose money. DC and Marvel can make posters only cause they have other ways of making money, so they can take a hit if posters don't do well. Small companies can't risk it.

I'm gonna venture a guess and say your best bet for a poster is the promo ones.

Yep. Although I seem to recall the samething being said over at MVCreations. They wanted to do it as well however the cost was too much. Like I said posters are risky and I'm sure the others are more expensive to make. There probably isn't enough demand for it. The ghostbuster community is small, not like X-Men, Batman, or transformers.

well, i think if the mini series sells well enough, we'll see quite a few comic based products….

if 88mph does decide to release some posters…. i'd LOVE to see one done in the style of the theatrical poster…

Orko is King posted this in another tread. This is what Andrew Dabb said:

The sales for Ghostbusters and Tron won't burn up the charts, but they will get more good reviews than bad, and the latter will do well enough to earn a monthly.

I think this pretty much tells me that people shouldn't hold their breath. I mean if you want to go ahead, but I dont suggest it. We need to realistic here. Ghostbusters just doesnt have the big studio behind it like Marvel or DC. Now if they were publishing it you may see a poster. I think your best bet is to snag a promo from your local comic shop.

hmmm…. i'd be interested to see where he got his magic crystal ball. for all he knows, sales could be through the roof, or the book could fall flat on its face. if 88mph sees there is a market and possible profit for posters and other products, my business sense tells me there will be some produced.
