In the pictures from GameInformer, they showed a picture of the Ecto-1 interior. There is also one of the engine. Since these pictures have already ben released and just from the way they look, I would assume the Ecto-1 will be in some cutscenes.

Dr. StantzThat would be used on the game for some cinematics between levels, just like GEARS OF WAR did with scenes like this:
I think they based the new game car mostly off of the Universal Studios Ecto-1 instead of the actual cars. The mirrors, the lights, siren/bullhorn, even the decals on the tanks on the roof, but they did add some stuff from the movie cars.
