I downloaded everything right.. and i unzipped all the files into the Doom2 folder. I edited the command line like it said to do so it would work, and I added the skins folder. The problem is that it won't start the game because it says the skins folder doesn't register and and it has to run through that to start. What did I do wrong this time?

Try deleting the skins folder. If it works then, maybe try adding it back with lowercase or something. Stupid Q's, but the skins folder is in the doom 2 folder right? If it still doesn't work remove the folder completely, the game isn't dependant on it.
