i think it is for AC for the jump suits, you know to cool the busters down when there running around.

Well, the packs are proton accelarators, so the hose must shoot accelaratered protons thru the hose (which you can't see because the yellow paint is so thick.) No, actually you wouldn't be able to see it, protons are too small. It shoots that to the gun which excites them so much that they shoot out in the cartoonish-looking beam we all love.

I remember someone saying on Bill's old board that the use of the hose on a flightsuit was so that pilots could urinate while in the confines of a cockpit. Exactly what a Ghostbuster needs it for I don't know, hehe.

It wasen't for the boys to urinate, I know that for sure! I have no idea why the yellow hose is there. I figure it has something to do with the ‘'circut pouch’' on the belt. The only thing is, it doesn't connect to it. Oh well, it's still a mystery smile
