should we just call him Onionhead now? :-) I like the idea of him being a recurring menace with a limited role.

Zack

I like the idea of Onionhead being the Green Ghost in GB1, and Slimer being in GB2. I mean they do look quite different.

Hey, are you joking. If so please forgive me. But the green ghost in the first movie is the same one in the second.

Ummm..No, have you ever seen both movies? They look completely different. I mean honestly, The green ghost was called Onion head. in GB1. THen Slimer in the Cartoon. ANd then slimer in GB2. I am just going to pretend they are two different ghosts to help explain how they look different and how one is good and one is evil.

I DO NOT think Slimer should have a name in this revival.

Why? He's not their pet nor their mascot. Making him “nameless” so to speak, gives him no identity and makes him anonymous. That's how he was in the first movie. An anonymous ghost with no real identity, he just liked to eat a whole lot.

So not giving him a name is one of the “smallest details of the first movie”. See?

I agree that the green ghost is best as a mischievious ghost with no name and a appetite.

I don't think they will be naming him in the comic unless it's disgusting blob or ugly little spud Fans and nonfans will know him as Slimer though he isn't named.

He really became “Slimer” for the cartoon.

Exactly! :p But they could probably say “Slimer” on the merchandise. Sorry, but “Onionhead” just doesn't fit him. No name is better.

Other than that, it should be great! :-)

I prefer the name “Slimer” over “Onionhead,” but I prefer the nameless goober who eats a lot over both.

The way I see him in the comic (this is just a personal thought, and probably not how it actually is) is he's the same ugly little spud in the first film but he dwells mainly around the firehouse (he doesn't live there though, just in the general vicinity - it is a demilitarized zone, after all). He's clever enough this time around to avoid getting caught though, and periodically causes mischief. But he's not the cutesy “pet” he was in the series, just a semi-common annoyance.

“Did I do that?” and then he'd float away through a wall. :-)
