Finally…A portrayal of the “green one” as originally intended…Malicious, mean-spirited, and gross…Not friendly and “pet-dog” like…Kinda like a drunk-frat kid looking for a fight…Or the dimwitted teenager knocking over mailboxes in his/her own neighborhood for kicks…Or the univited guest that cleans your fridge bare, without even asking once… :-)

I never thought of Slimer as being an evil ghost either (even before the cartoon). Just a hungry bugger who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, lol.
I was watching the bust scene yesterday, and I absolutely love the double-take Slimer does when he's drinking the wine. Its classic!

doesn't exactly sound like a by-product of a ritual to me….
something that hasn't crossed my mind…. i LOVE that the no-ghost logos are actually drawn as opposed to added digitally onto the art…
Actually, the idea of Slimer being a ritual by-product came from West End Games, in their 1986 edition of the Ghostbusters role playing game. So it's not RGB, not fan conjecture, but not from the movie obviously. Maybe the fusing of "spirits that haunt hotel“ was an inintended result of a ritual… (^_^)
The new Slimer is definitely okay with me. I could have lived with the JMS era ”Gluttonous Pet That Pissed Off Venkman“ Slimer :-O , but ANYTHING is preferable to the later ”I Talk Coherently And Save The Ghostbusters' Asses Every Episode" Slimer. :-@

Even with Slimer's ‘return to form’ I think we'll all still love him anyway.. And isn't that why he's returning in the new comic anyway?.. Well, anywho.. Should we start calling him Onionhead now because of the new comic?

You know, with no disrespect to BDP, but to his credit, I think Steve Kurth is actually better in his pencilwork :-O
The equipment, the hand drawn logos, the charater designs, they all seem more dark, and maybe realitic and detailed, when compared to BDP's equally cool work.
