I'm not a ghostbusters nut, I know what I like and I like the first movie and the cartoon. *and the theme song BOOYA* I don't think much more into ghostbusters past that, and I would probably refer to myself as a casual fan. Slimer was probably the no.1 rearson I got into ghostbutsers as a kid. I mean 4 normal guys with proton packs is cool but it lacks something. (I think it was the ecto cooler from Hi-C that guy me watching the cartoon). Although I like this new slimer, I probably will stop at the first issue of ghostbusters. A comic without slimer is like no ketchup with fries. Sure the fries can be eaten alone, but the ketchup makes it that much better. With that said, I'm going to hope to t he good lord that the NECA toy doesn't look like the comic cuz my favorite slimer is the high pitched voice one :-)

However if you put stay puft in a few issues I'll be a fan for life (^_^)

Leonardo :

We won';t be able to please everyone for sure, but in the long run I think we may come close to that.

I guarantee you, you will have ketchup……Oh yes…..You will have ketchup :p

That reassures me, I'm pretty sure there are going to be a lot of people like me out there. They're just not here to express they're opinion. Seems to be the ghostbusters nuts are here and all the casual fans haven't stumbled upon the site yet which is a shame. Kinda like TMNT for a while the message boards were all hard core fans and then all of a sudden the new wave came out and bam there were goof balls all over the place. I'll make a little rule for myself, I'll buy the first three issues for sure, and if I still don't like it by the 4th I'll drop it. But hey if you biggie size my fries I'll be all over this book

Although Ghostbusters is probably my favourite movie, I hate absolutely everything else to do with it. The sequel and both cartoon series completely missed the point of it for me.

However this comic book is the only thing to do with Ghostbusters that has really got my interest since the movie.

For me Slimer IS evil. He's like an aggressive Yorkshire Terrier - he'll try and attack you, scare you and be generally unpleasant - but he's pretty much harmless and all he can really do is slime you (not that yorkshire terriers slime you but you get the idea). If Slimer becomes cute, a pet or anything then I'd probably have to add this comic to the list of crappy Ghostbusters spin-offs and sequels. So far so good, though - awesome job.

Oh and I don't understand this Slimer being created in a ritual in the hotel basement - that makes no sense. It's obviously a ghost of a dead fat guy - who no doubt died of a heart attack or something in his hotel room. I mean how would a ghost try desperately to eat food if it was never alive and loved it in life? Why would it haunt the twelth floor if it was created in the basement? Shouldn't that mean it haunts the basement? Why would anyone want to summon an entity that just floats around the twelth floor eating food? It makes no sense. He's a dead fat guy - it's obvious.

I'm loving the Sinister Slimer… Ghosts that need busting should be frightening, scary monstrosities, not cute, friendly cuddlebugs.

That might disqualify the Stay Puft Marshmallow man (*_*) .
