i really dont want to get into this but here goes anything, maybe Egon and janine get close but then as Dr. Evil would say, “Things got wierd” and they drifted apart. that could make an interesting sublot

Here's my little thing. As much as those of you want to see Egon and Janine be together in the comic changes are a good thing and it couldn't hurt for a little change to happen in Egon's romantic life. Just like how I was saying that I'd prefer Pete to date other women like he did in RGB and not be tied down to Dana.

Yes, well said PVF. Here's another thing. Why should Egon have to be with Janine? For the love of mike, that almost sounds like, *shudders* an ARRANGED MARRIAGE.

ghostbustergirl, I agree with you. From a strictly first movie standpoint, Egon could end up with anyone or no one, and that's fine. I may have my opinions on the matter, but I think that like it or not, the movie ended with a glimmer of E/J, and therefore the comic should follow that in some form–at least for a while. What happens after that is up to them.

I'm willing to be flexible, despite my ‘shipper leanings.

Although I suppose in a related topic, I’d like to see Janine treated well. I like her fire.
