What do you want in the comic?

Actually, Janine was a active Ghostbuster four times. She was in:

Janine's Genie
Mr Sandman, Dream me a Dream
Janine's Day Off
Janine Melnitz: Ghostbuster

A bimbo? This is a person who practcally single-handedly defeated three ghosts in the ruined Firehouse, defeated her apartment full of poltergeists, defeated a greek god, faced down a demon pretending to be a genie and threatened to fire Peter, where's the bimbo in that? I'd agree if you meant the later season ‘mommy’ Janine. But the first season was a firey red head not to be messed with.

Having said that, I believe the female population has equal rights to the same rights as men…as long as they don't make a big fuss over how they get descriminated, when men can't have anonimity in court over rape charges…

Um…I think I've said too much already.

LMAO!!

The time where she was a “GB” in the sandman ep was in a DREAM. That one doesn't count. So that leaves three, count 'em, THREE other instances were she was a GB. And if you want to insult me, bring it to the private message box! Oh, one other thing, she(Janine), thought the Netherworld was Holland! Muy ridiculo!!!!!!

And if she's an insult to your femininity then you have something wrong with you personally, she was gutst, corrageous and a role model, and if you don't appreciate that then pack your bags and head back to Kansas because your on a site that promotes an ‘insult’ to your femininity.

Kingpin: Wow. She was just stating one of her opinions. You don't know EgonsBabe to be judging her like that. You may have not intended it to be that way, but you came off as being disrespectful to say the least.

Read yours and her posts discussing which episodes Janine was a Ghostbuster. Depending on how you interpret it, she could have been a 'buster 3 or 4x. And either answer should be acceptable.

Having said that, I believe the female population has equal rights to the same rights as men…as long as they don't make a big fuss over how they get descriminated, when men can't have anonimity in court over rape charges.

I really don't feel the second part of your post belongs on this board, especially in this discussion. IMO you seem to compare two different subjects about women. Furthermore (and I learned this recently) we all need to learn how to be more respectful towards each other.

I have to say that I agree with you on this Spengs, I myself have been the target of insults by certain male members of the board just because they don't like the idea of the fan-fic that I have written. Some of them have since apologized (which I graciously accepted), but I believe we should all respect one another, and if need be; just agree to disagree and be adult about it. I am HAPPY to have place I can come to and visit with other GB fans, and I think we all need to work as hard as possible to make this a welcoming, fun place for ALL Ghostheads.

Yeah, it ddin't feel right to post, even thought I did it. I just wanted to put the point that Janine isn't an insult to any woman's feminimity, even if we notice Janine's ‘Netherlands’ remark. I'm aslo somewhat tired of these dabates, of people saying they should be with Egon, and that Janine has no right.

I think I'll retract the statement.

EgonsBabe wrote
They turned her into a bimbo, at least to me that's how she came across, and it was a insult to my feminity.

It was the above statement that got me into that explosion, sorry about that Egonsbabe.

Indeed Gozergirl, sometimes a positive and adult attitude is lost when in an argument, I of all people should know that. Oh, I believe those insults you received we mainly directed at the Mary Sue part.

I do believe in equal rights for both sexes.

Now, getting back on track.

I'd like to see the ‘Ghost Sniffer’. Sure, it wasn't high-tech, but it was still original.

Thanks KP for the apology because I was rather PO-ed at you for that. It's just that we may have to agree to disagree on this. Howver, I would like to mention one other thing, even though I'm risking going off topic. Ghostbustergirl(that is her name, not Gozergirl) mentioned that because Egon comes from a intellectual family, it would be in his(and Janine's) best interest if he did have a lady who was more on his level. Janine, and this is only my opinion, might feel a little out of place. The feeling I got from the way Egon's uncle Cyrus was that he appeared to be a little cold to her. That's why I think she might feel out of place. Plus, his(Egon's)family's approval of his life choices does seem to be very important to him. But I'm rambling so I'll move on……..

Dr. Riddle, I agree with your idea to have Walter Peck as a recurring nusance. That would be hella funny!

1) Done.
2-4) What would GB be without Dana and Louis?
5) It would be fun to know more about their past, wouldn't it?

Right Andrew?
