What is a Torb? Who are the Vuldronaii? What is a Sloar? Who are the Shubs and Zuuls? What do they all look like?

Then, during the third reconcilliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants, they chose a new form for him…THAT OF A GIANT SLOAR! Nobody knows. It's all supposed to be a bit of backstory a la HP Lovecraft. (Then again, he might indeed just be talking cobblers.)

From my knowledge, a SLOAR is a demon that resembles a large spider with a gigantic mouth (or hole on its back) that imitates the fires of hell (or sends you to hell). So Gozer appeared as that and roasted people. My guess is that the shubs and zuul's were followers of Gozer or people that lived there back in the day.
A YOUNG sloar is seen in the Video game, but it resembles more of a dinosaur.

I usually assume anything attached to Gozer could be a metamorph. So just because it looks like something in one version of the media and a different in another media doesn't mean that it isn't the same entity
The rest of the entities, I assume, in proper Lovercraftian fashion would be impossible for us to comprehend.

Carter, they're either types of creatures in the universe Gozer inhabits, or ones it has encountered.

Kind of simple if you break it down. The Vuldronaii and the Meketrex are groups of people that summoned Gozer, or Gozer was summoned upon them. Both times the traveler came, with the Vuldronaii the traveler was a Torb and for the Meketrex the traveler was a Sloar. Vinz was just boasting the power of his god to egon, showing death and destruction have befallen other civilizations/peoples before and this time (he thinks) Gozer will do it again.

Well even though I dont really know what they are I always think whent hear the name Sloar of somekind of huge, firey behemoth. The Torb, when I think of it I get a picture in my head of something very large and very slow moving yet powerful. The Vuldronaii and Meketrex supplicants to me are civilizations somewhere else in this or another dimension. Thank you all! When we try to think of other dimensions and races that might inhabit them we think of aleins, monsters, and so on. Our thought is very 3Dimensional and earthly but when I try to think beyond that my head hurts. We just cant comprehend it. Maybe we are not meant to wander out of 3dimensional thought. Thank you all so much.

And nobody mentioned the interesting fact that “Zuul” is also the (apparent) individual name of the Gate Keeper. Which could mean any of number of things, such as “Zuul” was a name for the terror dog “race”, or the Gate Keeper used to be a member of the Zuul species.
