Ok so I'm currently watchin Ghostbusters II in between fire calls and the scene i just watched was when they were examine Vigo for the first time while Venkman took photos.

And I noticed during the ECU's of Vigos eyes that one is blue and the other is brown, just like Aykroyd.

I thought it was kinda neat. Makes it feel like he chose to posses Ray in that scene not just because he was closest but because thier eyes matched. But meh bit far fetched but hey im tired.

nice catch, there was a scene after that museum scene where ray is possesed and take the boys for a crazy ride in ecto 1a, i believe that plays a part in the end of the movie most dont know about.

No, that was cut out of the final cut entirely, but some of it is used in the Run-DMC montage–you can tell where the shots of Venkman come from because he's out of uniform. It's easy to assume that Stantz is driving like a maniac because they're headed to a very dangerous bust, but…ah. So *that's* why Venkman's looking shocked.

Both the novel and the RGB Now comic adaptions feature the scene. TheRookie is correct, it takes place after the museum scene. Ray under a trance drives the Ecto wildly through the city before being knocked out by another buster and crashing the car into a tree. Part of the scene exists like Nix said remains in the movie during the music montage.

Wow, I'll have to check that next time I'm watching it!

I would also agree that it may have been easier to possess if Ray ‘possessed’ (pun intended) similar traits to that of Vigo.
