Me Personally i would jump into multiplayer for a little just to destroy everything in existance and trap a ton of ghosts.

Whats everyones plan?

Single. We have all waited about 20 years for a sequel so i just wanna see how the story unfolds but ill play both

Story first. Not only will it be completely great - but it will let me get the game mechanics and controls down before going into multiplayer.

Yea Idk at first i was going for multiplayer just to mess around. But i think im gonna try the story first but will be up all night into the morning.

I'm definitely going into the story first. The multiplayer is really appealing, but like everyone else has said, we've been waiting 20 years for this and it's really starting to get unbearable waiting for it, especially with all the new information/videos/interviews that have popped up this week.

Story Mode. Coffee is my friend, I'll be up for a week or so beating it. XD I've been waiting years for the next story installment, no way is multiplayer beating out story mode. (*ray) (*peter)

Story Mode first; that is a definate. Mainly to get a handle on the controls before jumping into multiplayer but also, as someone else put it, to see how the story unfolds after 20 plus years of waiting.
