Dreamcast, Gamecube, PS2, or the Xbox?

I got Dreamcast Gamecube, and PS2

None.

I WANT Gamecube, but it's too expensive for me to buy. Perhaps over the summer…

Dreamcast died long ago. No one cared. N64 recently lost the futile war between the CD-systems. It's dead and buried, the last of the Cartidge-systems. Gamecube will take over now and replace both it's old Gen, N64, and the crap-tacular Dreamcast. PS2 and Gamecube will duke it out much as Genesis and Super did. (FACT: Playstation was researched and developed by Nintendo as an add-on for the Super. However Sony wanted in on the video game business so invested in this project. They then, stole it. The same think happened to give birth to the Sega Genesis.) Everyone screws Nintendo cause they fear it. Sucks don't it?


Oh yea, I got Gamecube.

PS2 is a playstation painted black with a DVD and a worse price. XBOX, enough said.

Although I stick with my PC, my friend has an X-box, i have spent signifcant time on the x-box, ps2 and game cube, and although they are all very good systems, X-box takes the taco. The graphics are about even with the gamecube, they both have thier strengths and thier weakneses in the graphical category. But the gameplay on the x-box is so much better.

I own a Dreamcast, Gamecube, and Xbox. Believe it or not, the DC is probably my all time favorite console because of some of the wacky games produced for it(jet grind radio, seaman, marvel vs capcom2, shenmue,powerstone,etc.). Now that all the DC games are on clearance, i can get some pretty sweet deals. I really have no preference over the Gamecube or Xbox, as they both have their own advantages and disadvantages. Nintendo looks like they will have alot of games of higher quality, while Xbox at the moment only has a few. No matter though, as the games that are good for the Xbox are some of the coolest i've played(Mainly Halo). The PS2 really doesnt interest me all that much. GTA3 looks like it could be cool, but I'm not much of a fan of the metal gear series or final fantasy, which are pretty much touted as it's killer apps. I might pick up a PS2 if it undergoes a major price drop, but after my lack of use of the original PSX, I really don't count on it…
