I would like to see that front shot of the original Ecto 1 as it races down the Brooklin Bridge… and the camera pans out to show a fleet of Ecto's following behind it. Just writing about that sends a shiver up my spine.

Awesome idea Crimson, I can see it now!
I want to see some badass bad guy (not from a painting, or a building)
No ‘big’ manifestations, basically lots of new elements added, with some old-school guys and humour left in for good measure.
I also want to have something that ties them all together, things happened for a reason. And maybe have a small link between them, the cause of all these things is something like Slimer or Dana, I dunno, I can't explain it but just something that puts them together and concludes it all, a final salute to the original GBs who pass the baton on. (But still sorta stay within the company)
Ooh, new weapons, and a couple of new different-looking Ectomobiles.

Actually a while back I had a dream about GBIII… the only parts I remember about it was it was in the beginning after the credits where we see where things started going downhill again: aside from being older than the hills and having one intern as a Ghostbuster who was rockin' the slime blower while they were taking down a Scolori Brothers-like demon. He ended up picking up Peter and throwing him across the room… very CGI like ( Think of Jay getting beat up by the pregnant alien in MIB). They ended up trapping the ghost, and were congradulating each other… then they saw Venkman's basset hound looking face as he was staring forward. He stood up slowly and stared at them as he pulled off his gloves and his armbands hastilly and threw them to the ground, then stormed away from them. There wasn't any dialogue… and that's all I remember. Sweet idea though, huh?

I'm openminded as long as it doesn't have: babies, Dana in danger, Louis getting the girl, or creatures that are as tall as a skyscraper. (*_*)

Oh come on! Satan would have to be HUGE! You know that movie producers wouldn't make it if their unholy father wasn't a giant. :-)
