What would you like Ghostbusters III to be like?

from what i read on the official script for GB3, which was posted on one of the GB websites 3 years ago, it is pretty much like the novel “Ghostbusters: The Return”

Are you sure it was the official script? I don't think it was ever published online. There were a few rough summarys and thoughts on it, and lots of fan scripts for a third movie.

The official script was not available online. Reviews from ign as well as protoncharging have been posted online. However Stax at ign claim he does not even have access to it anymore. It appears even though the film is not going to be made (or made anytime soon) the script is still being guarded closely.

don't you think it's odd that they would be guarding the script so tightly for a movie that's never gonna be made? sounds like maybe sony is possibly going to make a gb3 after all, if not now, then sometime.

Thats a good point and also how a lot of the media keeps talking about it plus in wizard magazine the real ghostbusters made their must own dvd of the month and gb1 and 2 was the number one dvd sold here a few months ago I wouldnt get my hopes up but only time can tell

Its hard to say….although there would be no money in realeasing it online. If they made a GB3 book then atleast they have a financial incentive.

ya that is true, but still. someone at sony is being more tight-lipped about this than actual info on the ps3. something just doesn't feel right, like their using it as their ace in the hole for when spider-man goes on hiatus or something.

movie studios aren't really keen on releasing ANY unproduced script, and GB3 is no exception.

…and yeah, no authentic drafts of GB3 have made their way public. even the draft that was reviewed was reportedly changed BIG TIME after ramis did his first revision….
