I think they should stick with the old equipment, but have a new weopon at the end,

that, and they should show more busting, like a couple of them to show a big puzzle to a BIG ghost…

And more information, how equipement works, how they built it etc…. would be cool!!!

They could move to Danny Aykroyd's original script idea, with the futuristic/time-travelling Ghostbusters… Not saying it's the best idea, but it is an idea.
