whatever year it comes out in. If you go beyond that, then the idea of newer technology is gunna kill it, it'll be like james bond. So, depending on when/if they start, i'd say like 2004 then. But, they shouldn't acknolegy that in the movie itself. Many movies are cast away, because it says the actually date in the movie. I may be wrong, but neither of the ghost buster movies actually say the year they take place in.
