Man, I swear, Egon better not be on the internet all day in this comic I want to see him over the books. But it would be neat if they mentioned “I'll check Tobins online.”

Did you people not EVER pay attention to the interviews Red gave in the Chat Room? I notice you people are asking alot of a dumb questions about the comic that you should know better about. Red answered this question ALREADY. Jesus Christ people did you suddenly develope amnesia?

Red clearly state that the comic would be set in present time.

Now one more in big letters

RED SAID THAT THE COMIC WOULD BE SET IN PRESENT TIMES, THAT MEANS NOW, CURRENTLY 2003.

Listen Bo not everyone had read the posts, and they might have not been in the chat when there was still just talk about this. You need to understand that questions that have already been answered will be asked. The best thing for everyone to do is just either give them the answer there looking for, or politely direct them to a post or site where the answer is.

If you haven't friggin' noticed Chad deleted everything related to the project a few weeks ago so it's kinda hard to direct them anywhere.

Way to go Chad.

Don't forget, Egon is the guy who said “Print is dead”… of course, in this day and age he's also likely to say “Peter, have you been playing video games again?”

My final thought on the WTC issue: the scene described above would look pretty impressive, and I think if the comic's creative team did decide to include the towers, it would be handled sensitively and with respect - no parodies, no dragons flying through the towers, no ghosts destroying them, no blowing the top levels off by crossing the streams… I mean, that would be just tacky.
It's a big *if*, and I doubt they'd do it. But if they did, it would be essential to the story.

Actually, I decided my rant was responcible partly due to my being at school, I'm now in a somewhat better frame of mind and decided to remove it.

There were some very good ideas for World Trade Centre orientated storylines here.

Unfortunatly, regardless of how they do it; including the WTC will offend some people. I think they should have a tribute to it, but otherwise leave it out of the current events of the comic. Maybe using some of those aforementioned stories as a tribute; having the GBs remember the times they worked there. Jusy my .02
