Just to clarify, the game will in fact be using the score, and will even be using what I believe has been said to be unreleased parts of the score. I don't know if that means there's even more than you've listed here, or if they just mean parts of the score that didn't appear in the movie, but I recall it being something about “80 minutes of previously unreleased score music” as the quote. So the game itself will probably create an excellent atmosphere, and it might be hard to create your own, based on the feel of each individual song and what its meant to be paired with (action, drama, suspense, etc.), but that was nice of you to post for all to enjoy!

Oh i don't know.. she superman the movie soundtrack made superman returns a much better game for 360 and the music went very well with whatever happened on screen.

That all depends on how fast you play, and frankly, luck of the draw really. There's no way to time the soundtrack to the game correctly if you're playing it on an iPod or CD, etc.

Its great music, and its being used in the actual game for that reason. It has the GB feel to it, and so of course it plays pretty well with the stuff happening on screen, but the actual game score that's being used will probably end up serving its purpose better, as the music will actually always fit what's happening, and the heightened suspense parts will have more dramatic music, and the more relaxed, “wandering around” bits, will have the more relaxed, easy going music.

No there isn't. Terminal Reality thought they should modernize that song, but they found out that people thought the original was the best…so why try to reinvent the wheel?

Although I will say that the song “savin the day” will be played at the beginning of the last level as I play. and maybe even while I am fighting the final boss.

Man, all this talk about the music puts me in that nostalgic New York City feeling that GB always brings to me when I hear the soundtrack. Having been born in NYC in the 80s I can certainly relate to the atmosphere of the music.

Did they use the movie soundtrack? I only played the PS2 version and it didn't even a hint of the Williams Superman score.

I think his point was that he just played the Superman score on a CD player or whatever while playing the game.
