What's up with Bill Muray? Why is he being such a party pooper for GB III? Any one know? This stinks me. Bill as Peter Venkman is my favorite Ghostbuster. I like all the busters, but he was always my favorite!

If all this talk about Bill Murray not wanting to get filthy stinking rich off a third GB movie is true, then dont worry because I'll take his place. I can do one hell of a Venkman impression. There's no doubt in my mind that Dan, Harold, and Ivan wouldn't let me replace him. Our skin color may not match so well though, but todays make-up can do miracles so I'm not worried.
The GB name is atleast as big if not bigger than Spiderman's name. It's got that household name quality to it. If they came out with a third one NOW just like Spiderdude's movie, just imagine how much cash it would make. GB is the better New York movie. I really hope they come back to the big screen.

I think he said before he didn't want to damage the franchise but of course he said that before GB2 as well 
Also I think he said he doesn't want to be known just for Ghostbusters and he thinks that would limit his credibility…or something

Actually , Wesyeed, while Dan, Harold, and Ivan might (doubtedly) let you play Venkman, Bill would not. Also, I don't think Ghostbusters is bigger than spider-man right now. And considering the condition of the actors now, a third movie might not do so well

actually odds are bill is holding out because 1. he doesnt want to see ghostbusters 3 flop and then ruin the ghostbusters franchise and 2. He never even wanted to do ghostbusters 2 in the first place so for him to do a 3 would be nothing short of a miracle, If they did do a 3 he would probably just make a cameo for a couple seconds and that would be it.

It's not Bill's fault, it's sony. Bill will do it. but sony will not give them $100-120 million to make it. SO it's not Bill's fault any more. Nagotiations are over, that wa slike 3 2 years ago when Bill didn't want to do a GB3, but now he's ready but now Sony isn't.

Dan was on Access Holly wood almost 1 year ago, and he anncounced why GB3 was not being made. It was due to lack of funding not Murray.
