What's Wrong With This Ghostbusters game?

Well, the game it'self is great!, the online, I'm sorry to say, is sorry, it needed a TRUE Co-Op Campaign Mode, Like Left 4 Dead 1-2, really detailed and long, like 5 levels broke up into 1-2 hour sessions. It made me sad, also, I would have liked the option of 1st person! I mean look at 1st persons today! I WOULD “BE” A GHOSTBUSTER!, and if it's “Optional” no harm no foul, we all get this game the way WE want. (Many games today have this option) When you select an “episode” like in L4D, you could watch the Ecto 1 driving out of the Fire Station
down the street as the loading screen between missions!, and also the Conversation Cut scenes could be done JUST LIKE Mass Effect. My 2 cents.

The ArcAdiAn 79 Xbox 360 -PS3 add me.

The developers of the 360/PS3 version opted for single player for a number of reasons, including the desire not to affect the delivery of the game dialogue, as the cast members have to give it at certain points, another was that at times it could be testing of the system to have multiple characters in one spot.

As for 1st person, if it were first person then there would have to be more of a visually cluttering HUD, as they couldn't display it on the Proton Pack in 1st person.

I feel they went with the best options under the circumstances.

I'm also gonna move this to the game forum.

I hope a 1st person Ghostbusters game is NEVER made. It just wouldn't be as good as a 3rd person……… imo!

Tons more 3rd person 1's by all means though!

I love the game just the way it is… maybe we could want to see more stuff, but every head it´s a world.
The 3rd person looks great, maybe cause I´m a big Gears of War games fan, and the gameplay its similar.

All I could ask it´s… DLC!!! Please!!! and maybe the sequel :p

In my opinion, the main thing left out would have been a mode that let you play through the story mode, but with 4 players co-op.

While you couldn't do that with the main storyline as there were areas where you were alone or certain characters just weren't there, you could do that as a separate mode. Basically it strips out the story and just lets you experience the single player levels with friends.

Of course, it would have taken time to do all this, but that's the way I would have handled it. Some level areas would have to be rebuilt; some character assets would have to be rebuilt; bosses would have to be rebalanced; etc.

Now, some savy modders could do this pretty easily actually.

Third person is fine… But an adjustable camera would have been nice… Or a “look behind” behind…

There's your DLC right there Skanker…

What about a patch for the 360 version to fix the glitched achievements?

The lack of support is what's wrong with this game.

Actually, it's what's wrong with the company.

Alot of development studio's are scraping by more than you think. While they pay well and stay open with a steady balance of decent projects the majority cannot fund a constant flow of DLC without help from elsewhere. Obviously the financial arrangement for Terminal Reality is less than stellar. The developers are top notch though, (cheers Skanker) and if their paychecks were being paid right and they had leads and producers willing to do the work then i'm sure this would already have happened.

Also, PC multiplayer/DLC.

The pre-order bonuses count as DLC.
